Issue: No Games Will Load Solution: All games in the PatrickScottPatterson.com Video Arcade use Flash. Devices that do not use Flash such as iPad and iPhone devices won't be able to play most of the games. If you are using a device that allows Flash, make sure you have the program enabled to run with your browser of choice. If you do not have Flash or need the latest version then CLICK HERE to download. Issue: "Missing Plug-In" Message in Google Chrome Solution: Flash sometimes has issues with the Google Chrome browser, especially after periodic updates. Here are two solutions that have worked for us in the past while waiting for Google to update their updates and fix their Flash bugs. Solution 1: Head to the wrench in the upper right of your browser window. - Choose "Options" in the drop-down menu. A new tab will open. - In the new tab, choose "Under The Hood" and click on the "Content Settings" button in the Privacy Section. - Go to "Plug-Ins" and click "Disable individual plug-ins" - Disable Flash. - Click back over to the tab with your game. Click the Refresh circle at the top of your browser. - This should show Flash as disabled within all windows. Now head back to the tab where you disabled Flash and choose to Enable it again. - Head back to the tab with the game you wish to play. Refresh it again. You should now be able to play all the games on the site until you shut down Chrome again. Solution 2: This is from an older Chrome update but may still apply or end up applying again in the future. - Follow the same steps as above, but instead of disabling Flash, choose to disable the Chrome PDF Viewer. - Close your browser, re-open and choose your game again. Issue: Q*bert sometimes freezes. Solution: We are aware of the glitch and are searching presently for a better version of Q*bert. |
